What types of buildings do you specialize in and what services do you provide?
We specialize in pre-engineered metal buildings sized and designed to your specifications. We offer three service options: supply only, supply and install and general contracting.

What area of Canada do you service?
We service all areas of Canada including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland, Yukon and the North West Territories.

What are the advantages of using a prefabricated metal building over conventional methods such as tilt-up or wood-frame?
Pre-engineered metal buildings are less costly than conventional building, are quick to install and are often operational within 60-90 from order. In addition, they are energy efficient and provide limitless design and customization features including clear span openings, cranes and mezzanines. Another advantage with pre-engineered metal building is the ability to relocate the building to a different site.

What should I be aware of when comparing prices and service from other competitors?
Prior to making a deposit of any kind, you want to ensure all of your building requirements have been addressed. A reputable company will want to gain a clear understanding of the purpose of your building and its functionality by conducting a thorough needs assessment. Unfortunately, there are companies that market their metal buildings as cancelled orders and request a security deposit prior to qualifying your building needs. You will want to beware of this tactic because often the deposit is non-refundable.

At Ferro Systems Ltd. we never request a security deposit until ALL building needs are qualified and approved by the client. This may include clarification over insulation, door sizes, positioning of openings, gutters and other accessories.
