WALL PANELS

STARMARK PANEL

StarMark Metal Wall Panel

Backed up by finish guarantees of 10 to 20 years, as well as Ferro's standard one-year material guarantee, StarMark Wall System panels are designed to keep your Ferro metal building system virtually maintenance free. Major ribs on 1' -0" centers not only provide panel strength and integrity, they enhance the panel's aesthetically pleasing sculptured look as well.

Panel strength is also provided by the panel's construction from sturdy 26-gauge steel (24-gauge steel available upon special request). And for added strength and beauty, StarMark Wall System panels are finished in either silicone polyester or 70% Kynar in a spectrum of colors.

StarMark Wall System is offered in all colors for the 26gauge panels. Shell White is the only available color for 24-gauge panels.

FEATURES

  • Finished panels will have four major corrugations 1" high at 12" on center, with a 2 1/4" x 1" deep depression between each major corrugation.
  • StarMark panels are roll formed at 26-gauge or 24-gauge, 50,000 PSI minimum yield steel (ASTM A653 Grade 50) with G-90 zinc coating (ASTM Galvanized Specification A924) or Aluminum-Zinc alloy coating (ASTM Specification A792).
  • StarMark architectural wall panels have a unique side lap feature. The panel ribs are designed to go in rather than out and one panel edge has a 360 degree hem that fits into the leading side lap rib. Panel side laps are very hard to find because of this feature.
  • Factory colored StarMark panels 26-gauge or 24-gauge, 50,000 PSI minimum yield steel (ASTM A653 Grade 50) with G90 zinc coating (ASTM Galvanized Specification A924) or Aluminum-Zinc alloy coating ( ASTM Specification 792).
  • StarMark wall panels will be one-piece construction from base to building eave with a maximum length of 32'. All end laps will be a minimum of 4" and shall occur at a supporting member.

DURA RIB WALL PANEL

Dura Rib Metal Wall Panel

DURA RIB panel is a proven product that provides durability, cost efficiency and ease in erection.

DURA RIB is a 36" wide panel with 1 1/8" high ribs on 12" centers and a full sidelap configuration. It is available in 24-gauge and 26-gauge steel. The 80,000 pounds per square inch yield enhances walk ability, resistance to hail damage and, along with the deep ribbed panel configuration, increases load capacity.

The side lap configuration is engineered to ensure weather tightness. The purlin-bearing leg design makes panel alignment and fastener engagement easy and consistent. A quality sealant is applied during erection which helps eliminate water migration and air infiltration.

Special fasteners with innovative pilot points to minimize fastener strip-out are used, and increased fasteners along the eaves will combat moisture migration from ice and snow buildup.

FEATURES

  • The girt-bearing leg design makes panel alignment and fastener engagement consistent.
  • DuraRib Wall fasteners are coated with an organic material that tests seven times more resistant to rust than the typical .0003 cadmium-zinc coated fasteners.
  • Air Infiltration: Tested per ASTM E283 with no leakage.
  • Water Penetration: Tested per ASTM E331 with no water penetration.

AP 300 WALL PANEL

AP 300 Metal Wall Panel

AP 300 series panels are used for interior walls, partitions and suspended ceilings in cooler/ freezer applications. They may also be used on exterior walls. Both interior and exterior facings feature the same minor rib profile that provides a clean flat appearance.

SPECIFICATIONS

Panel Thickness: 2",2.5",3",4",5", and 6" R-Value by ASTM C236: 17,21,25,33,41 and 49 Panel Width: 42" (1,067 mm)

Panel Length: Minimum 10' - 0"; Maximum 48' - 0" Joint Configuration: Interlocking tongue and groove Insulation Material: Foamed-in-place urethane modified isocyanurate with nominal density of 2.3 - 2.6 Ibs./cu. ft.

DESIGN FEATURES

  • Foam core is chemically bonded to non-permeable steel facings, resulting in retention of insulating values over time.
  • Superior strength of urethane foam core resists thermal crippling during tempera-ture pull-down.
  • Relatively flat surfaces are ideal for easy wash down in food facilities.
  • Shallow profile allows excellent sealing of vapor barriers.
  • Improved side joinery offers excellent foam-to-foam contact for full thermal seals.
