Project Details

Ferro Building Systems was approached by Mainland Sand & Gravel to provide a new facility to replace an existing welding shop at the Cox Quarry location.  Ferro provided design-build services for the foundation and building, which included foundation for a 1 ton jib crane inside the structure and the supply and installation of a 40’ x 75’ x 23’ building; which included an overhead door in both end walls to bring in the large excavation and hauling equipment for maintenance and service.  This facility provides our client with a much more efficient work space for their welding staff in their efforts to continually maintain their fleet of heavy equipment.
