For this project, Ferro was responsible for the supply of a 12,000 sq/f (120’ x 100’ x 22’) airplane hanger building. The building was designed for a self-supporting 65’ wide by 20’ tall hanger door system. The door system was designed to attach to Ferro’s building for wind loads. One option on this project was to include the loads for a future mezzanine into the design process. Also known as pre-loading, metal building systems can often accommodate design requirements at the fabrication stage for future purposes.
