Project Spotlight: FMC Hydrogen Project, Prince George, BC
July 22, 2012
Supplied and installed by Ferro Building Systems in 2011, this facility was a large, 6000 SF; 36′ tall structure. Complete with a Standing Seam roofing system, roof curbs, and corrugated wall panels the interior perimeter was also lined with a 10 foot liner panel. Having 13 openings, Ferro Building Systems supplied all necessary framing as well as overhead doors and man doors complete with canopies. Located in Prince George, the need for snow guards were essential as were thermally acceptable R28 roof and R20 walls. Due to the internal environmental conditions of the building, all the steel needed to be treated right down to the use of stainless steel fasteners including cadmium coated anchor bolts.
